"BRITISH MUSLIM"

Muslim of Briton, Britain is home,
A flower filled garden, dearer than the heart and the soul.

Here live the Jews, the Muslims, the Christians, the Hindus, the Sikhs and the Buddhists,
Look at the Glory of God, peace is every where.

Tens of thousands oppressed have arrived from across the globe,
Mother (Briton), embraced them all like her own treasure

Here is no compulsion on religion on anyone from anyone,
Source of light is the individuals’ heart here.

Freedom of thought and expression is here,
Everyone he or she, is equal before the law.

Is this the system of governance or a scene from paradise?
Everyone is engrossed in propensity.

So what? If they don't recite Kalimah (not Muslims), aren’t His human beings?
God has given the freedom (of choice), says the Quraan,

Since the beginning God is unique and has no partner,
Every one sings His praise in different tunes.


Here are no restrictions on you, and no inequality whatsoever,
Do what you please, with equality,

Many Muslims are only in name, not in practice,
You should express Quranic teachings by deeds.

You have Quranic citizen’s rights here,
It is a welfare state which looks after every body.

The enemy of the oppression and tyranny law-courts are fair,
Human respect is the foremost, (they have) disbanded the old ways.

Democracy is here, join in the journey,
If you desire progress, walk shoulder to shoulder.

For the sake of the nation, British Muslims are united (with other citizens) ,
Muslims are also ready and prepared to die for it.


Till the day of judgement, may the nation remain safe and prosperous,
Javed’s country (Britain) is the symbol of beneficence.
